Traditional ARP driven audits sample the entire supply chain in order to identify the 1.5% that fails. As an alternative, focused supply chain audits use the Benchmark to drill down to the UPCs that represent the highest failure by unit and cost to trading partners.
The audit examines every supply chain touch point that could cause a supply chain failure for the target UPCs. Retailers agree to participate in the process. Both partners contribute to the development of protocols used to conduct the focused audits. Audit data is shared between trading partners. Corrective action is taken and monitored via the SGC Benchmark and on-going audits.
Audit results are delivered via the SGC Benchmark subscription and are controlled by login and password, available only to trading partners who participated in the focused audits.
