SGC has developed the first independent benchmarks that measure all aspects of supply chain failure, including ARP activity, damaged and outdated product, and discontinued items. The benchmarks provide strategic and direcitonal information at the UPC/Category level that can be used by manufacturers and retailers to make permanent supply chain improvements with resultant benefits to both trading partners.
The benchmarks are independent and transparent to trading partners. Participating retailers provide the data in the benchmarks, including detailed UPC information for every competitor in every category. The data is validated and presented in a format that is easy to use and understand. Subscribers can compare their supply chain performance to all competitors ranked from "Best in Category" to "Worst in Category".
